Berlin, Vt – Dr. Joseph Brock recently opened Central Vermont Primary Care on the campus of Central Vermont Medical Center, in Building C. He attended medical school at Michigan State University in East Lansing. Further training was at the E. W. Sparrow Family Practice Residency Program, at Sparrow Hospital, affiliated with Michigan State University. A member of the American Academy of Family Practice, Dr. Brock has also received certification in Advanced Trauma Life Support and in Cardiac Life Support. He was most recently affiliated with Norton Family Practice in Muskegon, Michigan. “I enjoy the full range of family medicine practice,” stated Dr. Brock, “I practiced Obstetrics until I turned 50. Now I have more of an interest in geriatrics and taking care of the whole patient, both their physical and emotional needs. I’ve also done a lot of administrative work in the area of quality improvement. I am committed to evidence based medicine and applying those standards to my practice.” Dr. Brock and his wife Betsy relocated from Michigan to Vermont to be closer to their daughter, son-in-law and new granddaughter.
